Wunderkin Co. Acetate Clips

Five years ago I started this company with the hopes that a handmade hair bow could represent a brave and adventurous childhood. Now, we've created this new hair clip line in hopes that it serves as a reminder that the spirit of childhood lives on in each of us. Each clip is inspired by my own childhood nostalgia and lovingly made in France.

We cannot wait to see how you style our newest product on you and your little ones! Our new clips launch on May 14th at 10am Mountain Time. Sign up for our newsletter to receive a reminder straight to your email! Thanks for your support of our little company.

Be Brave, Hillary.

In true Wunderkin Co. fashion, we headed to nature to capture our new clips in action. Each of our 20 new styles of clips have been tested by kids and mamas alike, and we went on a long adventure to Deer Creek Canyon outside Denver, Colorado to prove it!

EACH OF THESE CLIPS IS MADE FROM A 100 YEAR OLD FACTORY IN THE FRENCH MOUNTAINSIDE THAT USES A GRAY-WATER SYSTEM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP. THEY ARE MADE FROM CELLULOSE-ACETATE WHICH IS A NATURALLY DERIVED COMPOUND MADE FROM COTTON AND TREE BARK.

We truly hope you love this new line of products as much as we do. It's been a labor of love, but we've had so much fun in the process.  We can't wait to see your clips join you on your next adventure. Be sure to tag @wunderkin_co on Instagram so we can see!!

Hey Megan!! That’s a great question. All of the listings tomorrow will feature images of the back of clips. We have added one to this blog post above for your convenience. We don’t traditionally take photos of the back of our bows for product listings but we love hearing feedback from customers and will definitely see if we can make it happen!

I love your products, but wish I could see what type of backing is on the different bow types & the new clips ~ which are adorable, Btw! I’ve looked on the site – is there something I am missing?? Thanks!

Say Hello to Spring 2020
Say Hello to Spring 2020

February 25, 2020

This Spring, we drew inspiration from the desert.  We loaded up the minivan and headed west from Colorado. Once we hit the oasis that is Palm Springs, we were so inspired by the fun pops of unexpected color everywhere. From the tile floors of the cutest brunch spot, to the pink stucco walls of the cutest motels, and of course the iconic doors of the mid-century homes ...
