Shop Sweet Threads x Wunderkin Co. Collection

Shop Sweet Threads and it's creator Shella Garcia have always been a favorite when it comes to collaborating. Shella's eye for one-of-a-kind contemporary and classic vintage-ware always brings an exciting and fresh take to our classic hand-crafted hair bows.

I had the pleasure of working with Shella on our recent Wunderkin summer photoshoot in Capitola, California where she styled several of the girls in vintage yet adventurous styled looks.  The colorful backdrop of the beach town also proved to be the perfect back drop for our newest Shop Sweet Threads x Wunderkin Co. collection.

These Pink Seer Sucker, Pink Linen and Pastel Gingham bows were made to pair perfectly with Sweet Threads PAUSH line of matching two-piece and romper looks, all of which will be available at the Sweet Threads physical location starting Saturday, July 15th. A limited pre-order for bows will be available on the Sweet Threads website at 7PM MT on Sunday, July 16th.

Each bow in this collection was inspired by experiences in New Orleans.  We drew inspiration from the deep and mossy greens during our swamp tour, and then also played on the bright and fun colors that decorated the historic homes in the Garden District.  The result is a collection of spring hues that nod to the feeling of visiting Louisiana, and all the vibrancy of the architecture, landscape, music and culture. Oh, and beignets. Lots of beignets.
