We can't believe summer is already here. It's been a epic couple of months rebranding from Free Babes Handmade to Wunderkin Co., but we've truly felt the love from our incredible customers, and feel more inspired than ever to continue emboldening free spirits around the world.
This season we headed up the coast to the quaint beach town of Capitola California to capture the spirit of summer adventure. Once again, Luke and Mallory Photography beautifully captured the essence of Wunderkin, while the sandy beaches and colorful houses created the perfect back drop for summer adventures in our popsicle-hued bows!

If you've been shopping Wunderkin Co you may know that we recently released our new Pinwheel Bow this past spring. It can best be described as a mash up between our sailor bows and oversized schoolgirl bows, the larger measuring 5x3 inches and the smaller measuring 3x2 inches. For the first time in the history of seasonal Wunderkin Co. shoots, we had our first "Mommy and Me" and "Papa and Me" features! We love nothing more than seeing parents raising strong, free spirited little girls, and this was no exception. It was a chilly evening on the windy beach in Capitola, but it made for welcomed cuddles and sweet candid moments."

One of our favorite things about shooting on the beach was being able to let the girls run wild. It was surreal to see our Wunderkin vision come to life. We loved their wind whipped hair, sand stained clothes, and playful energy. Friendships were made, sand castles were built, and adventure was in full force.
